Our Local School Partners

As clearly stated in our Theory of Change diagram, LCMTC prioritizes partnerships with local schools in Monrovia, Liberia. During the first two cohorts (pilots), we only provided classes in rented offices, which meant that students had to individually sign up and visit an off-campus location to attend classes and complete courses for certification. However, we realized that this raises a big question on sustainability.

 

If our ultimate goal is to have schools start adopting IT and media classes as a part of their school curriculum, how can we achieve that without directly involving them?

 

Thus, with the hope that more schools will consider taking up our programs for the long run after a few trials, we started to directly sign partnerships with local schools and provide our courses on their very campuses.
